Far Corners

With the Sun in Libra, the far corners of the globe will demand attention, as will study, travel, legal matters or in-laws. This is a precursor to bigger changes on these horizons. For the moment, Oct 4 brings a hitch or a glitch in the financial balance, as the unexpected expense or delay catches you out. The same day brings a Full Moon in fiery Aries, so everyone on the road will be a demon, or there'll be enthusiastic associates or high energy schemes to tempt you. Wait for the dust to settle before you make defining decisions; avoid anger in others. Money will preoccupy on Oct 7 with a lack of clarity as to how things will proceed. Consult experts or wait out the time. Oct 9 brings back a past connection or circumstance with work or health. Sort as best you can but prepare to pay the cost. Someone's behaviour or reaction will surprise you.

The door opens on a wider world as Mercury hits Libra on Oct 10, squaring Pluto. Discussion over beliefs will be incendiary and it's not a favourable time for travel, unless you know the risks. Nonetheless, fortune will guide you and persistent effort with work or health and their financial requirements will pay a dividend or get the result you're seeking. Step forward on Oct 13, expanding horizons without indulgence or extravagance. Follow the far call!

Feisty or forceful people will test you as Venus enters Libra on Oct 14, sideswiping Pluto. Avoid contentious topics and arguments over love or money unless you want to pay the price. Food or travel in exotic climes will cost. A new influence comes hot and speedy on Oct 16 as Mars rolls into Leo. Someone's attention will be on you and you'll have a suitor, an opponent or a rival. Set your sights on a distant shore with the Libra New Moon on Oct 18, ready to leave behind what you cannot take with you. Support or approval comes on Oct 20 but the regulation business of duty or responsibility calls on Oct 23, as the Sun rolls into Scorpio. Hidden plans or beliefs will count for something, a mood that intensifies as Mercury hits Scorpio on Oct 28. A new search or journey begins on Oct 30 as Saturn paves a new road with study, travel or a wider horizon. Get on the broomstick and fly for Halloween.

The Line of Duty

Sort out financial affairs, especially where communications or schedules are concerned. With Mercury moving forward in Virgo, if there's been a problem fix it or apply a remedy. A blip appears on the screen on Oct 4 and a delay or decision on Oct 7. The Messenger hits Libra on Oct 10 clashing with Pluto. Open to the wider world and discuss matters of travel, study or legal concern. Avoid arguments over beliefs and watch for problems if overseas. Somehow you'll have to cut your losses, or you'll deal with intense or opinionated people. Oct 28 brings Mercury to Scorpio and the focus on to communications about responsibility or career.

Out of the Shadows

The dealings of love or money will be intense but unclear, with Venus in Virgo first up. Sort out what needs doing or saying, detail by detail. You'll deal with fiscal people, or those who have hidden agendas or concerns. Ride the waves then watch Oct 14, as the goddess swans into Libra, clashing with Pluto. The exotic connection or the far horizon will feature, but curb the inclination to extravagance or risk. Glide on, enjoying a wider frame of social reference.

Working in Tandem

Mars is in Cancer, focusing on action taken for the routines of work or health. You'll be back to a past matters on Oct 10, but a line forward emerges with problems over work or money. Stick to simple strategies and methods. Mars enters Leo on Oct 16, bringing a feisty or energetic presence into close relations. Your loved one will be off on a comet, hot to trot or just a testy undertaking. Don't leave the knives out or blunt objects to hand - and try to say 'yes' a lot. You'll have a suitor or a rival, but opposition from someone close. Enjoy the sparks.
