The Nature of Relations

September unleashes a whirlwind. We begin with the Sun in Libra, focusing on dealings with partners and close associates. The nature of relations is important, needing examination at close range for change will make its mark in this domain in the years to come.

It's a scorcher on Oct 4, as a Full Moon blazes in your sign, bringing passionate or feisty encounters. Watch your moods and don't use accelerant on the barbecue or pile on chilli in the stir-fry. Feelings will dominate here but Mercury's forward move will promote a 'get on with it' approach and a fearsome focus on detail or method. As Mars powers up the messenger with close attention, feelings or concern over home or family will be the fuel to get things done. Review, plan and discuss on Oct 7. It's high impact on Oct 9 and 10 as past situations come up for resolution, especially with males. You'll hit something or someone, head on. Luck will save the worst of it for some while, for others, there'll be an opportune change or quantum advance.

Apply diligently and seek a welcome measure of change as Jupiter turns direct on Oct 13. Friends, groups or a community will open doors. Relationships feature from Oct 14 and you'll be fired up and passionate from Oct 16. Seal a bond with a New Moon in Libra on Oct 18 but shed a link where there's been loss or separation.

Fortune rolls while the Sun hits Scorpio on Oct 23, focusing on deep dealings in fiscal or erotic life. There'll be an alchemy with luck and power. Fortune favours the brave and the quick, then Saturn turns the page to Libra on Oct 29, bringing partnership into focus. There'll be changed responsibility to others and the leader's hat will be there to wear or follow. Use it as a mask or a pumpkin head for Halloween!

Speeding Up

Slowly but surely, Mercury picks up the pace in Virgo and gets things moving again so that action, especially fuelled by strong feeling or based in the home will put right what's been out of kilter or frustrating. Be quick to capitalize on a surprise development or change on Oct 4 then make plans, consult or set new directions. A strong or tough decision is there for Oct 7. Oct 10 returns Mercury to Libra, shaping to exit the retrograde shadow and putting partners or associates in the frame. Watch the next day for argument or accident. Opportunity or fortune will take a hand on Oct 20 then, on Oct 28, Mercury hits the realm of the Scorpion, focusing on deep discussion, secrets, financial matters and studies, erotic or esoteric.

Softer Touch

Venus in discerning Virgo focuses on social dealings or negotiations in the daily round of work and health. Oct 9 will bring surprises or a turnaround, restoring balance with a shakeup. Venus and Saturn brings discussion, delay or dealings with authority then the goddess swans into Libra on Oct 14. Drama or intensity will set the stage as love or money drives the plot. Love life will feature and someone close will set the pace or lead. Enjoy the life and touch that others bring. If there's dispute, remember, others have their concerns, as potent for them as yours are for you. The end of the month brings gifts, opportunity or fortune.

Mood Change

Mars is in moody Cancer, travelling in tandem with Mercury moving forward. You can direct frustration or discontent into useful tasks at work or around the home. You can't change the world (just yet), but you can alter your style or add strings to your bow, and the first two weeks will demonstrate that in spades (a good omen for working in the garden). Oct 9 will bring you back to an old concern or contact with renewed vigour. A tussle with a male will feature, but you can still lay a ghost to rest. You'll be unstoppably determined on Oct 12, as long as you rein in your mood. The Warrior launches into Leo on Oct 16, bringing a better measure of fun, romance and creativity than you've had for a while. Turn the drama of life into an art form.
