Time For Transformation

It's not only the end of an old year and the beginning of a new, it's also the end of an old era and the beginning of a new as we roll up to Dec 31. With Pluto established in Capricorn, the emphasis is on dealings with authority and profession or career. It's time for transformation. You decide whether to initiate it or let it come. Don't overreact or give way to extravagance on Dec 1 as Venus meets giant Jupiter. Engage with new connections or career possibilities. Take charge of your situation after Dec 4 but beware of locking horns with authority. There'll be glitches with travel or communication on Dec 5 and 6, so expect surprises, interruptions or delays. Dec 7 brings inspiration and the presence of friends or groups. There'll be a change of direction and unexpected disruption or excitement on Dec 10. Ride the waves! Mars will clash with Uranus on Dec 11 and 12. Don't blow a fuse and don't try to mend one unless you're calm. Inspired action or interruption will send plans on a sharp left turn.

At the full moon in Gemini on Dec 12, communications will come. They may be surprising or they may be tough negotiations. Be harmonious even if life is a roller coaster. There'll be demands on your energy on Dec 15 so draw deeply on inner or spiritual resources. Avoid indulgence and watch for deception.

Dec 21 brings the Solstice and the Sun to Capricorn, joining with Pluto, Lord of the underworld. Professional dealings will be intense or involve high-powered people. Friends or contacts will bring unusual or eccentric practices on Dec 22, brightening your ideas. Have an inspirational Christmas then set new tasks and new directions at the New Moon in Capricorn and the union of Mars and Pluto. There'll be intensity or fireworks. Aspire to the highest. Make your plans big but practical on New Year's Eve. Have a good one!

Topsy-turvy

Mercury begins in fiery Sagittarius, stirring up big thoughts and discussion of new horizons. However, on Dec 5 and 6, there's a clash with Uranus and Saturn, bringing surprises or delays. Expect technical hitches and learn to deal with refusal. This will all come right if you're calm. The messenger slips into earthy Capricorn on Dec 12, bringing practical plans and discussion, and also dealings with authority or career matters. The mood is intense as Mercury joins with Pluto. Don't risk accident or argument. Thinking and discussion will be clear and bright on Dec 24. There'll be big plans or career discussions on Dec 30.

Shifting the Social Scale

Venus in Capricorn joins with Jupiter as the month begins, bringing meetings or negotiations with professional people, career contacts or those in authority. Dec 7 sees the goddess glide into Aquarius, putting friends, groups or community action to the fore. Unusual people or practices will feature on Dec 22. There's a mystic or romantic feel to encounters on Dec 27.

Determined Action

Mars in Sagittarius supercharges the Sun from Dec 4, urging action or a show of leadership. Don't push too hard or overdo it as a resident 'bossy boots', but get the business done. Don't fly off the handle or trip over the phone cord on Dec 11 as Mars and Uranus clash. Sudden or explosive events will trigger action or responses. And don't come a cropper due to impatience! Be careful with electricity, fuses or sharp edges. Creative or spiritual activity is in focus on Dec 15. Be sensitive and inspired but expect delay or obstruction. Mars rolls into Capricorn on Dec 27, joining with Pluto, when forward movement career-wise will test your authority.
