Long Term Changes

The influences collide as Mars rolls through your sign, firing you up for action but creating pressure in relations with others or close dealings. The Sun glides along in Libra, causing you to yearn for a peaceful home life, replete with all you could imagine or desire. And, in the background, Saturn shapes for 'long term' change.

Watch for fireworks in your career sector on Oct 4 when a Full Moon in fiery Aries brings you 'head to head' over professional matters or your dealings with authority. Where do you stand? A fiery female will have an opinion. As Mercury makes a return pass across Uranus, travel or communications will bring unexpected news or a turnaround. Watch devices and travel safety then consult with an official or make a serious decision on Oct 7. The mood's uncertain but you need to work things through. A link from the past will return or an old matter will need address on Oct 9.

Determined effort will pay, but there'll still be a standoff or delay when Venus joins Saturn on Oct 13. Jupiter moves forward the same day, bringing movement on the financial front, especially with joint monies. Home or family is in focus from Oct 14 as Venus glides into Libra, though a clash with Pluto will produce tension or an intense cycle of change. Don't confront, negotiate! Avoid excesses or drama with spending. Put your back into the money game from Oct 16, as Mars hits Leo. Watch conflict with males or clashes over money. You'll encounter a stubborn view or you'll demonstrate one. Diplomacy or a desire for harmony will win the day if you bring it to bear at the New Moon in Libra on Oct 18. However, something or someone will have to go.

News will be good or the developments big with money or housing matters on Oct 20 then the Sun rolls into Scorpio on Oct 23, focusing on lifestyle, romance or creative ventures. There'll be extra gas in the tank or juicy substance to your dealings. Mercury adds grist to the mill with ideas or effective communication as he enters Scorpio on Oct 28. Saturn ushers in a new domestic or family cycle as he enters Libra on Oct 30. A trick or a treat is at the door for Halloween!

A Wide Sweep

Sort out outstanding business with travel or communications, getting back on track or on the move. Oct 4 brings the unexpected but Oct 7 demands serious discussion or decision. Home or family is in the frame as Mercury moves to Libra on Oct 10. Change your decision style or discuss matters in a different way to lay the ghost of last month's retrograde. The mood's intense or feisty and argument or accident will test the unwary. Fiscal discussion will find a way forward on Oct 20. Experts or professionals will contribute. With Mercury in Scorpio on Oct 28, speculate, investigate, put it into words, push a new venture or activity into motion.

Spiralling Out

You'll be out there in the world, dealing with officials, the public or fellow commuters. There'll be ups and downs but a decision or a critical individual will push you. Oct 9 will bring testing people or events then Oct 13 brings delay or a hard nut to crack. Are you going anywhere? Oct 13 signals a shift of mood as Venus slips into Libra and social life or the budget will be in focus at home. There'll be a testing hill to climb or a dramatic encounter as Venus clashes with Pluto. There'll be a drama over money or love and you'll need to up the ante as to how you deal with it. A firm hand and a clear head will help. Don't give way to extravagance. The end of the month will bring a mix of changes in fortune with powerful encounters or deals.

Settling In

Mars charges through the last of your sign, returning to past links or situations on Oct 9 but also running in tandem with Mercury to bestow a magic wand or a whip to crack. Set the pace or conditions and you'll get things moving. Oct 16 shifts the focus with Mars into Leo and money is the word and the deed. Get out there! Get after it! Follow the creative impulse.
