Ready, Steady, Go!

With the Sun in Taurus, you'll be ready to play, but Mercury hits trickster mode as he rolls into Gemini on May 2nd then clashes with Saturn in Virgo. You're ready for action, but work or health concerns will be a fly in the ointment. Poor communications at work, or difficulties commuting are likely. Watch yourself in traffic, too. An earlier piece effort may need redrafting, or you'll clash with someone's opinion or judgement. Overseas links, legal situations or study are likely to be involved. Avoid arguments with experts or academics. As Saturn moves forward on May 3rd, resolve difficulties by attending to detail but taking in the big picture.

May 5th brings a New Moon in Taurus as mystic Neptune joins with the Lunar North Node. Prepare to set sail for new horizons with romance, recreation or creative efforts, but money will need consideration. As Jupiter turns retrograde on May 9th, don't rely on luck to get it right financially. May 9th also sees Mars roll into Leo, featuring an urge for risk or overkill with love or money. Restraint is the better path. Money will bring tension or confusion in the mid month and a disagreement or a split arises because of it. This is not a time for risks or secrets in your erotic life.

Judgement will be flawed or erratic on May 18th, so avoid the impulsive and the hopeful. A Full Moon in Scorpio on May 20th focuses on friends and group activity, bringing excitement or excitable people to deal with. Be ready for a burst of feeling over a new venture, or from a friend. The Sun rolls into Gemini on May 20th, focusing on work, health and daily routine. Venus follows suit on May 24th and these two form a difficult square to stern Saturn in picky Virgo. Study, legal matters and overseas travel aren't favoured. The loss of a link or contact is threatened. A clash with authority is in the wind, along with difficulty with communications or arrangements. Mercury moves to Gemini on May 24th, clashes with Uranus then turns retrograde on May 26th, so sudden confusion will reign for a time.

Fining It Down

May 2nd sees Mercury roll into Gemini then clash with Saturn in Virgo. Communications or travel connected with overseas may be problematic or testing. You may lose links or have to change schedules. Disagreements with experts are in the wind. Prepare to change arrangements or delay signing a document. Outcomes with law or study aren't favoured. Mercury squares off to revolutionary Uranus on May 24th then turns retrograde on May 26th, bringing fireworks or fizzers. Communications may fail while travel arrangements will be uncertain. Watch for basic misunderstandings. Review, revise and specialise in the double check.

It's Not All Fun

Venus is in Taurus, focusing on romance, recreation and lifestyle, so it's time to enjoy favourite foods and people. Be vigorous in activity and creative in endeavour. Social life will feature, as will celebrations or occasions, but don't be impulsive with lifestyle or romance on May 18th. You'll be naïvely expectant or overly hopeful and errors of judgement will occur. Don't be wasteful with love or money, but enjoy a fantasy with your loved one in the wee small hours. Venus moves to Gemini on May 24th, clashing with Saturn in Virgo, bringing a separation or a standoff. Legal dealings, study matters or overseas connections will be troublesome or confusing.

Deep Desires

Mars rolls into Leo on March 9th, finally out of Cancer. You'll be ready to take a risk or throw yourself in at the deep end, but don't go OTT. Avoid secret deals or liaisons and don't throw good money after bad. Conserve what you have and focus on what's important.
