Happy Birthday!

Happy birthday with the Sun in your sign, you can get ready for a big big year, especially as the Scales are expecting the imminent arrival of weighty Saturn, the measurer of effort, to help you celebrate Halloween. First up, your house of partnership is ablaze as a Full Moon comes in Aries on Oct 4. There'll be excitable people or high emotion and you'll be dealing with it 'one to one'. There'll also be hidden agendas or missing details so be sure you talk through any excitement before it hits the spiral. The 'ups and downs' of your love life will feature. Pause on Oct 7 to consider what it is that doesn't quite make sense (and that could be a lot). You'll be best to create a hiatus or you'll have to deal with a delay, and problems with health or work could be involved. Oct 9 will see you wrestling with a feisty male or taking on a task or responsibility familiar from the past. Pick up the subtle signs or work to a secret plan.

Tension rises on Oct 10 as Mercury hits your sign, sideswiping Pluto. You'll have to work to hold your ground or you'll clash with authority. There'll be a strong step up or an end to something. Thus, this is a red-letter day but creative thinking and support will see you through. Once again, follow secret plans or strategies, this time on Oct 12. The next day sees Jupiter move forward, letting you stretch your wings, play or hit the creative button. Luck will come with a gamble.

Oct 14 sees Venus in your sign and you'll feel the urge to shop, dine or socialise. First though, you'll have to play out a drama of love or money, negotiating a passage through a testing situation. With Mars in Leo from Oct 16, you can put your shoulder to the wheel with friends or groups. You'll deal with a feisty or energetic male.

Push the re-configure button with image or presentation at the New Moon in your sign on Oct 18 then say 'goodbye' to something old! A little luck will see you through as the Sun rolls into Scorpio on Oct 23, focusing on money. Deals or connections involving home or family will feature, especially as Mercury hits Scorpio on Oct 28. On Oct 30, Saturn turns the page of history as he steps into your sign, calling you to the stage to take a leading role in the coming drama.

Talking It Up

With Mercury in Virgo, go quietly and ride out the changes till the time's right for decisions. That'll be as the Messenger hits your sign on Oct 10, where a hairpin bend or a step up will demand courage and discretion. You'll have a lot to say so be prepared, be confident and don't fall over the furniture, especially as someone higher up will want to make it hard or push you through the hoops. You'll turn a lucky card on Oct 20 and, as Mercury moves to Scorpio on Oct 28, there'll be intense discussion or powerful deals involving money or financial life.

A Touch of Class

Venus is in Virgo, leaving you in the background or working quietly away, as you ride out the blips, and people shift and change before your very eyes. Call a halt or a timeout on Oct 13 then set the game in motion, as Venus glides into your sign the very next day. Take on the world, transform your image or presentation but don't put your holdings with love or money at risk, even if glamour or enticement waves the wand. A new you will emerge on Oct 18, having shed a skin. Take advantage of opportunity, social ease or plain good luck on Oct 28.

Cruise Control

With Mars in Cancer, responsibilities or dealings with authority are in the frame. Males will feature and you'll have to put in the hard yards or remedy a past situation. Don't neglect diet for the demands of activity but work carefully around sensitive or emotional people. For the moment, what you say and what you think can be two different things and a secret plan will do no harm. Prepare for a change of gear on Oct 16, as Mars fires up in Leo, bringing activities with groups or friends right onto the playing field. Go for the drama and invest it with passion.
