Change of State

With Pluto established in Capricorn, transformation or dramatic events will affect home or family in the years ahead. A change of state is coming and doings in the world will shape this. Meantime, a celebration or an important visitor or purchase will grace your home at the start. Sun and Mars clash on Dec 4, bringing tension over leadership or authority. You'll meet a bossy boots or you'll be one. Don't fight over traffic or parking. There's a hitch and a glitch with work-related travel or communications on Dec 5 and 6 as Mercury wrestles with Uranus and Saturn. Upsets, sudden changes or delays will feature. Guard against accidents and take care with health.

Smooth it over by Dec 7 and, as Venus slips into Aquarius at the same time, romance or social activity will be in the frame. The hiccups continue on Dec 10 and 11 as Uranus tussles with the Sun and Mars. Deal with the stress of rapid shifts or clashes and watch for sudden eruptions of action or feeling on the road or in the office. Take care if you work out or train. On Dec 12, a full moon in Gemini is vibrant. Travel, study or legal concerns will come to the fore, or reach an end. You'll deal with a raft of communications; links with overseas will feature. Home or family will bring intense talks or strong decisions as Mercury enters Capricorn, joining with Pluto at this time. You can stay calm, but you'll have to wait or compromise. Take a creative tack on Dec 15, but be quietly persistent.

The Solstice brings the Sun to Capricorn on Dec 21, coming to a union with Pluto. The mood's intense and change at home will begin in earnest. Socialising and inspiration will lift you, but the pattern of transformation will take shape with the new moon in Capricorn on Dec 27. Drama, intense action and important discussions or communications will carry you into the New Year.

An Inward Move

Mercury in Sagittarius clashes with Uranus and Saturn on Dec 5 and 6, bringing unexpected changes or an upset with work and health. This will cause delay or an impasse. A more harmonious mood comes on Dec 7. Dec 12 sees the messenger slip into Capricorn, joining with Pluto. Discussion or decisions involving home or family will be intense and practical or organisational matters will feature. Change is in the wind. Be careful with domestic safety. Dec 24 will inspire. Important news or communications come from afar on Dec 30.

Social Joys

The mood is buoyant or extravagant at home as Venus and Jupiter meet at the start. Guests, occasions or purchases will feature. Dec 7 sees the goddess shift into Aquarius, focusing on social activity in romance, recreation or lifestyle. Parties or gatherings will feature. Dec 22 will bring unusual people or situations. Enjoy something eccentric or out of the ordinary. The mood is more seductive or romantic on Dec 27. Enjoy, but don't be taken in.

Heading for Action

Mars in Sagittarius powers through your house of communications and travel. It'll be easy to upset the applecart if you're reckless. Watch Dec 4 for clashes of authority. It's better to give way than cause a fuss. Dec 11 sees Mars and Uranus square off, bringing tension or even conflict with work-related travel or communications. Equipment may blow. Be calm if you're driving. Be careful with electrics. The mood is benign on Dec 15 but you'll still have to wait out delays. Mars grinds into Capricorn, joining with Pluto on Dec 27. Vigorous action or testy males will feature at home. There'll be an end or beginning. The action cycle is intense.
