Draw Onwards

With the Sun in Libra, go cautiously, keep an eye on events and people and reflect on what is taking place. It's 'behind the scenes', a mood that will intensify. Watch work, health or daily routines with a Full Moon in Aries on Oct 4, as you'll deal with fiery customers, feisty co-workers or the blast of a minor ailment. Make the right changes in the wake of this, especially if diet is concerned. If you're planning study, travel or the expanded horizon, now's the time to give it all shape, or explore possible parameters or destinations. The feeling's uncertain but, if you get down to the nitty-gritty and detail, you can track the path you wish to take.

Old links or past situations will return for remedy on Oct 9 and the onset of this may surprise you. For some, there'll be a sudden change in love life. Look to the inner world to reflect on what you want as Mercury hits Libra on Oct 10. Watch for accidents or sharp encounters though, especially through inattention or overreaction. Don't tread on anybody's business toes and don't irritate siblings or neighbours. You'll somehow or other be shaping for a journey, by accident or design, and the substance of it will bring deep and abiding personal change. However, that's on the horizon still so continue to plan and take steps on the road ahead. Decisions about friends or groups will come, midmonth, and you'll feel the winds of change with family or domestic life, as doors open or possibilities emerge. Visitors or purchases will alter the landscape at home. You'll step back from social or romantic life on Oct 14. There'll be pressure at work or there may be private matters or secret dealings in the frame. Intense or dramatic people or situations will push you sideways for a time. Negotiate your way back to balance.

Follow a spiritual or creative urge on Oct 18 with a New Moon in Libra. Separate from people or situations not required, but watch health and energy. The Sun's in your sign on Oct 23 so it's 'Happy Birthday'! There'll be options to discuss, negotiate or make a deal as the month ends. However, Saturn, measurer of effort, calls the cosmic tune as he moves into Libra, shifting the scale and balance of your life in the years to come. You'll draw inwards as you seek different things, meet different people and thus slowly become a different person. Why not celebrate the changes at Halloween!

Forward at Last

Mercury is in Virgo, moving forward, and you'll sort difficulty or overcome delay with friends or groups. Step over obstacles then make the 'yes' or 'no' decision on Oct 7. Past contacts or an old horizon will summon on Oct 9, so apply a remedy or lay a ghost. It's the inner world from there as Mercury hits Libra on Oct 10. Watch it in traffic, don't opt for risky deals and don't argue with officials or irritable neighbours. Review the creative or spiritual side then put new forms of expression into action on Oct 28, as Mercury rolls into your sign. Speak up.

Stepping Back

Finish up or level out the social life that goes with friends or group involvement. Work around the blips on Oct 9, then step back and view the world from the observer's stance as Venus enters Libra on Oct 14. A clash or a drama may cause you to step back and private matters will dominate from there. Home or family will support these inner dealings in the last week.

Duty Calls

With Mars in Cancer, running in tandem with Mercury in Virgo, a far horizon calls you into action. Males, energetic or feisty will feature. If travelling, take care, especially if there's a weapon or a soldier nearby. A past horizon may call you back or a family need, linked with study, the law or another country will demand action. Advances will come and thoroughness or consultation will serve. However, the mood changes on Oct 16 as Mars rolls into Leo, and duty, professional obligation or responsibility come into the frame. You will deal with a feisty authority, or you may be one. You will take a new line of vigorous activity or responsibility.
