A Wider Horizon

With the Sun in Taurus, look to a wider horizon. Travel, study, overseas links or legal matters will feature, but Mercury will twist the tale as he enters Gemini on May 2nd then clashes with Saturn in your sign. You'll worry, have delays or face tough decisions. Try not to clash with someone older or in authority over career or responsibilities.

May 5th brings a New Moon in Taurus so you can set a course for the future, closing old doors to open new ones. New work opportunities will call. You will meet a creative or spiritually inclined individual through work or health matters. Watch that you're not misled or too hopeful about your opportunities but do take the road that truly calls you. Prepare for change. With Jupiter retrograde in Capricorn, put lifestyle or romantic matters on hold til you get the basics sorted. May 9th is the key date.

May 9th will also bring Mars into Leo and your solar twelfth house. Gently does it. Don't be in a hurry and don't trust everyone you deal with. Watch for hidden opposition or obstacles. Let plans take shape slowly but be persistent nonetheless. Communication problems, or a break with contacts, surfaces mid-month. Expect a split over thinking or beliefs. Legal dealings will alter the picture.

A Full Moon comes in Scorpio on May 20th. News or communications will feature and you'll deal with an excitable or powerful individual. Feisty or intense exchanges emerge at meetings or in traffic. Career or responsibilities will be in focus, as the Sun enters Gemini on May 20th, squaring Saturn on May 22nd. Venus follows the same course on May 24th and May 26th. Prepare for testing encounters, hard decisions and negotiations. You'll either bear a burden, or take on something new alone, but you'll have to wait for results or people.

Turning It Round

Mercury enters Gemini on May 2nd, focusing on career, responsibility or professional matters. You'll take up new or clash with someone in charge, but delays affect career concerns. You'll organize for others or deal with the public. If you are worried and unable to make the right decision, be patient. Mercury clashes with Uranus in Pisces on May 24th, then turns retrograde on May 26th. A partner or close associate will go through a sudden or unexpected change. Plans or arrangements will alter unexpectedly. Communications will be problematic or confusing. Be adaptable. Take care in traffic. Service equipment!

Getting Focused

Venus is in Taurus, bringing a touch of the exotic to social relations. Foreign food or friends from overseas will feature. You'll encounter unusual or artistic people. You'll make a move that brings a break or separation in your circle. Travel plans will alter. You will look to a new horizon, mid-month. Venus enters Gemini on May 24th, focusing on professional contacts or career concerns. Communication and information exchanges will feature, but the goddess clashes with Saturn in your sign, bringing delays or dealings with authority. You may not find the opportunity you're seeking. Go solo. Responsibility will be onerous or demanding.

Careful Action

Mars rolls into Leo on May 9th, bringing a touch of fire to your solar twelfth house. Take things quietly and encourage a reflective mood. Creative or spiritual endeavours are favoured. Work behind the scenes and watch for hidden opposition, especially from males. Work around any obstacles or bide your time till they fade. Plan or prepare in secret for a burst of energy later. You'll deal with wilful presences that impose on you. Be patient and wait for them to go.
