Asperitus Casting Runes...
|
- Greetings, little piscatorial tragedies! How is everything at the bottom of your sea of personal sorrows? Is it still the Holy of Holies down at full fathom five, a tabernacle which none but the tear-stained imbecile might enter? No doubt you're well ensconced and thoroughly deserving of your lonely and pitiful fate! We left you last month, weeping in the midst of disaster, or was it that the month before? Or was it the month before that? Or was it the month before that? Somehow, they seem nauseatingly similar.
Anyway, let us carry on regardless. We left you inebriated, the curtains burning and your staff outside in the hall trying fruitlessly to encourage you to behave like a normal human being. As the great Sol Invicti clashes with nasty Neptune, you faint away to the floor while several of your staff resign, content to leave you to your fate. When Mercury clashes with mighty Mars, your remaining retinue break down the door, put out the fire and attempt to minister to you. You're overwhelmed by remorse and now apologize profusely for your misdeeds. You even threaten to fling yourself from the window, but a staff member suggests that this will probably make them all feel worse rather than better. Ah me! What it is to live in a benighted universe ruled by insane gods. Had there only been wiser counsel present, this very sentence would have been my last.
The Full Moon comes in lunatic Aquarius while Mercury the messenger clashes with underworld Pluto. You fall into a trance while further hostilities break out among the staff members, the point at issue being whether you're in spiritual transport or simply drunk. In the midst of this unholy row, a light begins to burn within the deepest recess of your inmost being and you see the error of your ways. You sit up and recommit to the path of healing. Ye gods and little fishes, you're a reformed creature yet again, little piscatorial tragedies!
A gaggle of irritating planets comes in your solar sixth house and you hire further staff and return to work, setting yourself to cure the ills of the world. Venus the goddess and the great Sol Invicti move into Virgo and humble folk from all across the globe visit you to know the bliss of your healing. But, as Venus clashes with mighty Mars, once more you feel impelled to find the one who will give you the child you seek and thus perpetuate the wonder of you. Each night you dream of such a one. Each day you long for such a one.
Jolly Jupiter and the New Moon come in asinine Virgo and the moment you have longer for arrives with a knock at the door. You open it and there a beautiful stranger stands before you. "Come," says she/he. "Come away with me now! I am the one." You're entranced, smitten. Your very sense of self begins to melt.
As Mercury the messenger turns retrograde, the stranger seems to speak a language only you can understand. Your path is set, little fish-faced tragedies. You don't even stop to pack. You walk away from everything, your hand in the hand of the beautiful one. But where are you really going? Click here next month and see.
