Happy Birthday, Scorpio!

With the Sun in your sign, it's Happy Birthday To You! All the action is in your personal life this month, with comings, goings, eruptions and revelations. The main thing will be to work out where you stand with it all, and where you're going from here. The fireworks begin with a Full Moon in Taurus on Nov 2, when pressures from people close hit career dealings head on and feisty or excited people will want to speak their piece, or have some redress. Take time to sift what's going on and don't get stranded in your own view of the situation.

A lift or a boost will come as Venus hits your sign on Nov 8, but don't overreact in talk with family or the household. A clear perspective will bring clear decisions; you'll need to revise strategies or ideas to deal with unusual situations. Don't deceive yourself or be deceived on Nov 11, but draw take from friends or interested bodies to sort matters.

Your mood will be at odds with the business around you, midmonth. On Nov 15, Saturn in Libra and your solar twelfth house clashes with Pluto in Capricorn and there'll be stress or pressure pushing you to see things afresh or deal with unexpected or dramatic revelations. Bring hidden skills or latent ability into play in a changing situation. Siblings, neighbours or associates will feature, as will the traffic of travel or communication.

A New Moon in your sign on Nov 16 urges a radical approach or a revamped presentation. Soften the steel in you with velvet gloves. If you're looking for fiscal solutions, the same day sees Mercury in Sagittarius in harmony with Saturn, so lay secret plans or dream the dreams then slowly put them to work. Give dealings with authority or professional meetings a wide berth on Nov 18 unless you want a stoush or a quick result. Effective links or contacts will serve your needs or interests on Nov 20.

On Nov 22, the Sun rolls into Sagittarius, focusing on basic spending or money management. From there, it'll be awkward or uncertain in a domestic or emotional situation. Be sensitive to the feelings of others but don't put your emotions or money at risk if you're uncertain of what you want. Inspiration strikes on the last day but check the safety gear in any extreme activities.

Talking It Through

Walk the communications line with Mercury in your sign, crashing against almost everything that opens and shuts. Household or family matters will need discussion, to be sure everyone has the right end of the stick. A calm demeanour and a tangential approach will be better than bullocking determination. If you're wondering what you really want to say, give yourself time to find out. Follow the creative or intuitive impulse. The Messenger turns to matters of money on Nov 16, giving you opportunity to reflect, review and reformulate your strategies.

Dressing Up

Leave the foot off the pedal with Venus in Libra at the start. Social or romantic activity will be in abeyance, or taking place in the background. The mood changes on Nov 8 as Venus flows to your sign, bringing the joys, social or romantic. Buy something to lift your spirits or take the glam meter up a notch. Giving and receiving will be just the thing, as will culinary delight. The signs are testy or impetuous for Nov 18; you'll need to travel gently and carefully at the end. Watch spending. You may have to bear with a few tears or a minor disappointment.

Straight Up

Mars in Leo this month urges you to take action on career or dealings with authority. Be fixed, but ease off on the pedal as you review whether things can work in the way you imagine. Are you tilting at windmills? Or putting out a match with a fire hose? Make sure you've targeted the right goals, and that you have situations and people in perspective. With the Warrior set to reverse next month, slow down and review your action style and strategies. Prepare for delay or obstruction; you'll need to be realistic through it all. Feisty or pushy males will test you.
