The Sun in Aquarius lights up your 1st house of personality, helping you to shine as your personal New Year gets underway. If you've been feeling low on energy lately, this is about to change. You should feel refreshed and renewed as the Universe sends positive energy to you. The Leo Full Moon on February 7th may find you torn between your own ego drives and the need to compromise with a significant other. It is your birthday after all, so it would be nice to get your way... set firm boundaries and let your expectations be known rather than let things fester. The Pisces New Moon on February 21st activates your 2nd house of finances, giving you the energy you need to keep bringing that paycheck home. With Neptune setting up camp here for many years to come, you may find that the material becomes more spiritual and the spiritual materializes. By following your bliss and doing what is the best expression of your karma, you will not want for anything.

Speak Your Mind

Mercury lights up your 1st house of personality, helping you to speak your mind (as if you needed any help!). You'll get your point across clearly and people will take notice as the planets are firmly on your side. You may even seem brainier as clever Mercury is well-placed in your sign. After Valentine's Day, Feb. 14th, the Winged Messenger activates your 2nd house of personal finances and what you value, helping you to consider what you have, what you want, and what you'd like to do with it. Some of you may be contemplating charitable work as compassionate Neptune and communicative Mercury blend together. However, as Mercury and Mars face off around Feb. 23rd, there might be a tug of war between what is yours and what belongs to someone else.

Be Open

During the first week of February, Venus in your 2nd house of money and material possessions attracts lovely things into your life... this is a great week to have a birthday, as you are likely to be showered with gifts! Alternately, you may want to shower yourself with gifts... just be careful not to exceed your budget. After February 8th; Venus twinkles in your 3rd house of communication, granting you a silver tongue and golden pen. With Uranus also transiting your 3rd house, you may find sudden and valuable insights just come to you! Tapping into the collective unconscious happens more naturally and frequently now. Saturn Retrograde

It seems like Saturn has been in Libra and your 9th house of legal matters, publishing, and education for a long time and should be leaving, but that won't happen any time soon due to the Great Task Master turning retrograde on Feb. 7th. This is a period of hard work and study but in the end you are likely to be greatly rewarded. Stay consistent and balanced through each challenge. The 9th house also rules in-laws and other family members at a distance, so if loose relations are driving you nuts, you can blame Old Saturn. You may be very frustrated by how others act but only you can control your own reactions. The good news is that Saturn is exalted in Libra, so in the end you can expect a fair outcome.

Neptune in Pisces

On February 3rd, Neptune enters dreamy Pisces and your 2nd house of personal finances and values, potentially changing your relationship with the material. This can bring about your ideal job situation, where you follow your bliss and the money follows naturally. This can also find you becoming much more spiritual in your values. One thing to watch out for: You may also be tempted to indulge in unrealistic spending habits and get caught in addictions that will bring your financial status down. Keep your feet planted firmly on the ground.
