Get Your Needs Met

For most of the month, the Aquarius Sun lights up your 8th house of other people's resources, helping you to get your needs met. It should be fairly easy for you to ask for what you want, especially at home during the first week or so. Even with your reputation for being an emotional type, your persuasive arguments will be very logical and hard to beat! The Leo Full Moon on February 7th could be potentially very passionate, in more ways than one. If you find tempers running high over finances, try to kiss and make up rather than start World War 3. The Pisces New Moon on February 21st inspires you to broaden your horizons. If going back to school or travelling the world isn't in your budget, the library has a wealth of knowledge that can be yours. Study something you have always been curious about!

Desires

Mercury lights up your 8th house of sex and rebirth during the first half of the month, making it easier for you to make your desires known. It's also a good time to apply for a loan or other type of financial aid, as the fine print will be more apparent and manageable. After Feb. 14th, Valentine's Day, the Winged Messenger activates your 9th house of faraway places, turning your thoughts to things at a distance. Your interest in culture and philosophy is stimulatedÉ why not rent a foreign movie with subtitles so that you can 'travel' without leaving your couch? Mercury and Mars will face off around Feb. 23rd, causing a potential rift with neighbors, siblings, or in-laws. You may be called in to keep the peace!

Public's Darling

During the first week of February, Venus in your 9th house of culture and philosophy has you dreaming of ideal situations. If you can't catch the next international flight to Paris or attend a conference that interests you, at least you can read up on subjects you'd like to learn more about on the Internet. After February 8th, Venus shines in your 10th house of career and reputation, making you the public's darling! You may have some unexpected good luck as fortunate Venus and electric Uranus conjunct... you might even want to buy a lottery ticket or two. This is a great time to interview for a job or ask for a raise, as the Universe favors you now.

Saturn Retrograde

As much as you would love Saturn to finally leave Libra and your 4th house of home and family, that won't happen any time soon due to the Great Task Master turning retrograde on Feb. 7th. Positively, this means you'll have more time to create the structures you need to have a happy, healthy home life. However, you will need to continue doing the ground work, which might even mean extensive repairs to your physical dwelling. Many of you will be building an addition to your house, while others will be taking in (or moving in with) family members. At least it's Saturn in Libra, so you can expect that in the end, everything should turn out fairly. Keep your chin up and know that better days are ahead!

Neptune in Pisces

On February 3rd, Neptune enters dreamy Pisces and your 9th house of travel and higher education, turning your thoughts towards the mystical and spiritual. Some of you may even decide to teach during this transit, so if you are considering a new career this might be a good place to start. One caveat: It is important to stay humble during this transit, because it will be all too easy to feel like you have stumbled upon 'the Truth' or be tempted to follow someone who claims to know 'the Truth'. Keep your mind open and remember that there are many paths.
