A New Gear and a Fresh Start

With the Sun in Virgo, the focus is on travel, communications and dealings with siblings or neighbours. However, as Mercury is retrograde in the sign of the Virgin, there will be testy or testing situations, feisty or critical people and difficulty getting through or getting anywhere. Watch Sep 3 in particular, as you'll have to work to take in what others want or what they're saying. There are good connections to make nonetheless. Sep 4 brings a benign mood to the home, but guard against trouble with chemicals, drugs or deception. There could be a male with a fiery temperament or strong tasks to be taken on.

Social or romantic life will hit a new gear as Venus slips into Scorpio on Sep 8, while a New Moon in Virgo on the same day will bring a fresh start with communications, business dealings or travel matters. Jupiter rolls back into Pisces on Sep 9, slowing developments or dealings with career matters and boosting connections with faraway places, whether physical, or intellectual, even spiritual. Sep 12 brings Mercury back to forward motion, clearing the clouds of misunderstanding or any confusion that has come from the backward Messenger. Don't let exaggeration or indulgence throw you off track on Sep 14, but fire up for a powerful effort as Mars slips into Scorpio and links up with Pluto moving forward. Extravagance or exaggeration will send you spinning on Sep 19, but big ideas may be out of reach in the end.

Challenges, difficult people or important communications are in the wind on Sep 21, but not everything will let you do what you want. The Equinox brings the Sun to Libra on Sep 23, focusing on your home or family and perhaps bringing a shift or an increase with responsibilities. A Full Moon in Aries follows, bringing hassles at home over obligations in the public sphere. Sep 25 sees the stress rising as Saturn squares Pluto for a third and final time. Your standing or association with someone close is set to push a few buttons and alter the way you operate in close relations. Where is your home life in this? A break or a separation threatens, as Saturn clashes with the Lunar Nodes on Sep 27. You'll step from the confines of an old situation into new self-reliance.

Sorting It Out

Mercury is in reverse in Virgo, throwing a spanner in the works of your third house of travel and communication. Watch difficulties with the phone, the car, the neighbours and the odd angry sibling. A difference in methods or a technical failure will be at the root of problems, so a careful and discerning eye is needed. Study, information and working techniques will help to sort things, especially after Sep 12 when Mercury moves forward. Ease your way back in and line up to learn whatever is lacking or incomplete. You'll be back in communication when there's been a break or separation, whether it be of a personal or business nature.

On the Prowl

Venus hits Scorpio on Sep 8, focusing on creative ventures and romantic or social life. Put yourself out there and see what shows up on the radar. It's time for discreet purchases for your lifestyle. You may find yourself at a celebration or a gathering. Be prepared to take chances or risks, either socially or in some kind of speculative venture. The mid-month will fire you up for special efforts, or advances in your involvements. An intense or magnetic individual is hovering in the wings. Just make sure there are no secrets or manipulative efforts.

Fierce Fires

There's an ease at first, with Mars in the last of Libra in harmony with Neptune. Enjoy the company, the creative efforts and the good feelings. Sep 14 will turn the mood, bringing an intensity that will power your efforts or give you that edge of superhuman strength. Roll with it, but make sure you keep a sense of proportion about what you're capable of. Males may feature as you lay down your lifestyle. Push to the brink but don't jump until you're sure.
