Big Wide World

With the Sun in Scorpio, focus on study, travel, overseas connections and events in the big wide world. Prepare for fireworks, hot words and perhaps the eruption of unexpected feelings or actions as a Full Moon strikes in Taurus on Nov 2. You'll need eyes in the back of your head and the patience of a saint, two attributes you actually possess if you're in touch with your inner skills and sensitivities. Wait for things to calm down before you try to sort them out. The main thing will be to identify who's with you and who's against you; expert advice or powerful communications will draw those lines, especially around Nov 5.

Dance the night away, or opt for exotic tastes or companions on Nov 8 as Venus hits Scorpio, when you can feel a strong bond through friends or groups. There'll also be realisations or a revelation. Get set for a change of direction, or a tangent with skills or learning, as new ideas take hold or new practices excite. Watch health though, and look to the wider circle of associates for remedies or solutions.

Midmonth will be testing, as Saturn in Libra and Pluto in Capricorn wrestle on Nov 15. Expect a huge inner shake-up, as life or your situation changes with money, joint holdings or the search for inner knowledge. By the pull of destiny, you'll take a different course or find yourself in a different state. Career, professional meetings, or talks will come on Nov 16, but a New Moon in Scorpio on that same day will urge you to set your sights on a new but unknown horizon. Take a creative or spiritual path, even if you can't see where to put your feet to follow it. Watch for deception and avoid indulgence.

Friends or groups will bring a lift on Nov 20, as the Sun rolls into Sagittarius on Nov 22, focusing on responsibility, career or dealings with authority. Muster the resources you have and enter new alliances. The emotional mood or the fiscal experience will test you as you're troubled by small disappointments in the last week. Navigate carefully, but stay on course to that far horizon.

Straight Talk

Mercury in Scorpio helps you get a grasp of the big picture, but be prepared to talk through problems or conflicts you have with others. Lay the cards on the table; let everybody speak and see if a resolution can be reached. Don't pretend it doesn't matter, or isn't happening. Brilliant perceptions are there to be harvested, if you're prepared to take a new or altered point of view. Bring new skills to bear. Nov 16 brings Mercury to Sagittarius, focusing on organisation, dealings with the public or authority and professional concerns. Good plans will work and experts will advise. Watch for an unexpected turn or a tricky moment in communications at the end.

The Wide Horizon

The enticement of money or hot love will be strong at the start, but be cautious with secret activity or connections. Nov 8 brings Venus to Scorpio, opening the big wide world of exotic companions or dining, travel plans or involvement with academics, legal people or overseas links. Keep an eye to the broader scheme of things. You'll encounter intense or powerful people, females especially. Work or health will bring a testing encounter on Nov 18. Social skills won't be high, but the frisson will be. Trim your sails to navigate uncertain seas in the final week, but rely on what you have within you to know what's best to do.

Methods of Action

With Mars in Leo all month, focus on the activities of work, health or daily routine. Get physical in your tasks, but make sure you take every concern seriously with regard to safety or correct practice. Get into the drama of what you want to do, but remember that Mars is set to hit reverse next month, giving cause to review practices or action style. Pushy males will trouble in the work place, or there'll be an energetic associate that needs an assist. Look to the restoration of vigour. If an old health problem resurfaces, deal with it. Changes in activity will serve.
