A New Phase of Understanding

It's about people close to you as the Sun rolls through Virgo but, with Mercury retrograde in the sign of the Virgin, there'll be some listening to do as you go over old issues or resolve matters from the past. You'll deal with a break in relations. Sep 3 will need special attention as someone close might not be able to get out what they need to say. Take the pressure off and allow time so you can break through into a new phase of understanding. From Sep 4 to 8, there'll be an emphasis on creative and spiritual action. You'll be around artistic people or enjoy gatherings that focus on harmony and social ease. Venus moves to Scorpio the same day, bringing social relations into a bigger picture of the world. Exotic dining and dealings with people from other cultures are in the wind. Someone close will make decisions or set a new course for themselves as a New Moon comes in Virgo, also on Sep 8.

If you've been pursuing a plan of expansion or an opportunity with money, slow down and put it under review as Jupiter retrogrades back to Pisces on Sep 9. Mighty Jupiter, the lord of the ancient gods, is well at home in your sign, so you will be able to enjoy a much more positive few months ahead. Then the flow of communications will come back to normal at last on Sep 12, as Mercury moves forward once again. With enough talk, you can lay a few ghosts or resolve a few matters from the past, but you might drift off or daydream too much on Sep 14. All kinds of things seem to be possible, but what practical contribution can you make? Don't be run by too many idealistic notions. Put yourself in the wide open spaces and the fresh air as Mars moves to Scorpio the same day. You'll need to stretch and push yourself, clearing your head with the obligatory deep breathing. The big picture is the thing you require.

Sep 19 will draw in all sorts of idealistic or extravagant people and you may be one of them. Ground yourself rather than getting carried away with possibilities. Sep 21 will see you meeting challenges to overcome them. You'll have to apply strategic thinking to work your way through the crush. Sep 23 brings the Equinox and the Sun to Libra, ushering in a new phase affecting joint finances. As there is a Full Moon in Aries the same day, you might give way to waves of excitement, perhaps letting off steam before you settle down and consider what is occurring on the financial scene. Once again, money pressure is on, especially with the business matters you have in hand. Sep 25 will bring some stresses. Step out of the demands or involvement that no longer serves on Sep 27. If it doesn't fit the programme, drop it.

Talking It Over

With Mercury retrograde in Virgo at the start, step in close and talk over outstanding matters with your loved one. If the past needs to come to light, then be honest and attentive. It'll be important to develop a habit or pattern of listening in order to re-establish a connection with someone close. Work your way bit by bit early on, but as Mercury moves forward from Sep 12, you'll get back into the rhythm and flow of good communication.

A Far Horizon

Venus begins in Libra in your house of finance and, while all seems fair on the surface, you'll need to look through the demands and statistics to make sure you haven't left something to chance, or made presumptions about what is enough. Sep 8 will see the goddess slip into Scorpio, bringing a more exotic flavour to your social life. Have a dinner party with a Middle Eastern theme! Look towards the wider world to get a sense of where you need to go.

Following the Compass

Mars begins in Libra, encouraging gatherings with interesting or artistic people. There'll be something of a mood to draw you in or open a door to the wider world of endeavour and understanding. It could be time to develop your artistic skills. The outdoors will be a place for clear thinking. You'll incline towards social occasions where the dancing is vigorous and the food is hot and spicy. Don't talk about work, talk about what is happening in the world.
