Travel, Business, Communications, Partner Responsibilities

Travel, business and communications are in the frame with the Sun in Taurus at the start. However, Mercury plays the trickster by moving into Gemini on May 2nd then clashing with Saturn in Virgo. Relations at home will be cool or testy and changes with work or health for you or someone close will affect the home. Saturn moves forward on May 3rd, advancing a partner's ambition, or bringing a revised structure to relations with partners or people close. Someone older or in authority will return to your life.

May 5th brings a New Moon in Taurus, setting in place changes with travel or communications. It's the right time to enter into new business deals, studies or involvements with the public. As mystic Neptune joins the Lunar North Node on May 5th, you'll seek involvement with creative or spiritual people or you'll undergo a change in beliefs or understanding through a new connections. As Jupiter, your life-ruler, turns retrograde in Capricorn on May 9th, prepare for an absence or a severance with a friend or a group. May 9th also sees Mars roll into Leo, urging you to put new health routines in place or setting you on a new path with work. Difficult communications or unusual people will turn your head around via chance encounters or unusual ideas from May 11th. There'll be a departure or a split, mid month.

Be wary of financial or emotional commitment on May 18th. Judgement will be flawed. May 20th brings a Full Moon in Scorpio and excitement or upset with study, travel or legal matters will feature. A foreign contact or an academic erupts with feeling. May 20th brings the Sun to Gemini, focusing on home, family and domestics. As the Sun clashes with Saturn on May 22nd, delay, increased responsibility or a harsh critique will feature. Sudden excitement, upset or confusion will come when Mercury turns a retrograde on May 26th.

Short Circuit

Mercury sets a cat among the pigeons as he slips into Gemini on May 2nd then clashes with Saturn. Family or domestic matters hit an impasse, delay or tension. An older individual or someone in authority will feature. You'll encounter reluctance or criticism from someone close. Work or health will affect someone you're close to, affecting relations with them. On May 24th, Mercury clashes with Uranus in Pisces then turns retrograde on May 26th. Expect fireworks, poor communication or minor accidents. Sudden movement or upsets will come.

Outside, Inside

Venus keeps you busy in Taurus, dealing with the public or working with associates. You can mix business and pleasure, but be cautious in your judgements and reserved in social dealings on May 18th. Avoid financial decisions. Venus rolls into Gemini on May 24th then clashes with Saturn in Virgo on May 26th. There may be an absence from home, an unwelcome guest or difficulties with the finance for domestic purchases. Time and persistence will sort this out.

Fired Up for Work or Action

On May 9th, Mars finally bids farewell to Cancer then rolls on into Leo. Work, health or daily routines will be in the frame. Start a new exercise program and make sure you give yourself room for self-expression as well as vigorous exercise. Diet and revised work schedules will also be important. Be ready for an encounter with a fiery or stubborn co-worker. You may also deal with the public or creative people. Watch for any problems with your back or heart as far as health is concerned and take remedial steps should anything be wrong. It's a good time to start a new line of work or a new job where physical activity will be at the heart of things. Fire up for it!
