However you describe it, you'll get the best from 2008 by fostering organized and efficient working relations and 'long term' partnerships that will fulfil you in romance or profit you in business. For some lucky Crabs, there'll be a decent serving of both of these. Jupiter, lord of fortune, sets the pace in earthy Capricorn, bringing partners and close associates into focus. Partnership for business or romance will flourish and you will make interesting connections. Study, overseas links or travel, academic or legal concerns will flourish through those with whom you’re associated. This is a year for expansion and new horizons and someone close or someone with whom you become close will lead the way. New people will bring humour, excitement and a more philosophical approach. However, Jupiter in the sign of the Goat will urge that the transactions or exchanges in any situation are clear and above board. Some of you become involved in a partnership that brings both business and romance. Others go into business with a romantic partner or vice-versa. The doings with those around you will take on a ‘larger than life’ character. You may become involved with exuberant, powerful or gifted individuals. Someone close may set out on a new path, shifting their interests, beliefs or life direction. In turn, the effect of this change will make an impact on you. However, changes that come through a new influence in your life may put you at odds with older ones. You will have to navigate a process of personal change. Jupiter turns retrograde in Capricorn on May 9th and moves forward on Sep 8th, staying in the sign of the Goat for the balance of the year. In Nov, the lord of fortune makes sweet music with Saturn in Virgo, bringing a tide of real achievement or profit from activity. There will be a rise in status for some. Saturn, the measurer of effort is in discriminating Virgo and your solar third house. This will bring a note of reserve in personal communication and continues a cycle of education, new ideas, plans or developments. Business schemes for the ‘long term’ will feature. You will deal with authority, experts or older people in daily business or communication. Be ready to study or increase your skills or information load, taking you away from familiar ground or out of your comfort zone. You will thus have to rely on the advice or skills of others in unfamiliar situations. Saturn in Virgo is an ideal time for a big dream to become a big scheme and make itself real.
