It's time to get things done and to take yourself somewhere professionally or vocationally. Authority figures will loom large and may be demanding or hard to please. You will learn new skills or methods to acquit yourself or take care of duties. Jupiter, the lord of fortune has moved from the fires of your sign and settled in Capricorn. It's time to expand your financial horizons. There will be the opportunity for increase somehow. There may be a pay rise, a turn of fortune or an 'in' with business or financial dealings. Management is the key. Set goals. Work towards them determinedly. Be organized and practical. Don't let your inner spendthrift take the stage.
Some of you will look to expand your holdings with possessions or resources. You will put money into practical items or possessions of value to increase your worth or anchor schemes or investments. Dark Pluto, the lord of the underworld forms a triumvirate of movers in the earth signs, partnering Jupiter and Saturn. On Jan 25th, he enters Capricorn for the first time since the Eighteenth Century. Here, considerations on money and financial dealings will somehow become more serious or intense. There may be a complete change or transformation in circumstances or prospects. You will focus intensely on holdings or accumulation. Some will have to deal with powerful or dramatic events with money or resources. Other will make an end of one situation and begin anew. Along with changes with money, there will also be changes affecting your values and value system. You will think or feel differently about security, financial holdings or what you want in life. All these things will unfold slowly and over time, as that's how Pluto travels. They will also be connected to the primary structures in the social or economic system of which you're a member. Pluto moves back to Sagittarius on Jun 14th then returns to ensconce himself for the foreseeable future in Capricorn on Nov 26th.

The year starts on a fiery note with Mars in reverse in Gemini, clashing with dark Pluto, lord of the underworld. It's tense! It's electric! It's fully charged and ready to blow. There will be a face up or face-off with partners, close associates, rivals, opponents or suitors and who knows where it will lead. You'll be in for some testing tussles and tumultuous attractions and it may be that others will initiate the interaction or move in close to press a point. There'll be obstacles, opposition or objects of desire in the form of other people. If there's an argument or a struggle, work your way through the process of negotiation and try to see the other side of things.
