Pace Set By Others

Happy New Year, Cancer! Take things at the pace set by others as the Sun moves through Capricorn and your solar seventh house. Partnership and cooperation are ongoing themes, even though you might prefer to move a little faster or make stronger changes. Read the measure set by others and keep with it, every now and again urging things forward a little in the direction or at the pace you would like to take.

Finance will continue to be the big issue as the last of the Grand Cross touches your houses of finance. You need to pass through a gate that will set you up for the future by changing the way you earn now. Discussion, advancement and even a little good fortune will shine their lights into the second week. Just make sure you don't push forward into any 'winner takes it all' or 'get rich quick' ventures. Patience and perception will win the day, as the right gamble with the right people will pay the dividend.

The Full Moon in your sign, illuminating Venus in reverse, will show you just where you're going and perhaps bring an old comrade or companion back into your life, either work wise or romantically. Or, this blaze of light may cause you to review where you're going with a close associate right now. Powerful choices must be made. There may not be much room for contingencies, as you'll have to go one way or the other. You'll just have to trust the scheme or dream you think will set you free.

The Sun's move to Aquarius on Jan 20th brings contacts or methods by which you can advance your financial situation. A New Moon in Aquarius on Jan 29th lets you to set the new in motion. Some may begin a hot new liaison at this time. Others may renew erotic relations with someone close.

Talking It Over

Mercury the messenger moves to Capricorn and your house of partnership on Jan 3rd, emphasizing discussion, delegation of responsibilities and cooperative understanding. Just keep talking and you'll find the way to the future. Discuss. Work things out. Negotiate. Understanding, new ideas and benefit may come in the second week as the messenger connects with Uranus and Jupiter. Mercury moves to Aquarius and your solar eighth house on Jan 22nd. The emphasis moves to financial dealings and discussion with those involved in finance. New ideas and contacts or a new approach will bring fiscal benefit.

Revisiting

Venus the goddess is in reverse in Capricorn and your house of partnership, set to spend the balance of the month there. You may find you're back in contact with an old associate or an old flame. You may review current partnership arrangements and find them wanting, especially at the Full Moon on Jan 14th. The last week will see outstanding matters sorted or overdue monies paid. There may be visitors or communications from overseas. Fortune may come with or through a partner. The influences favour successful outcomes with legal matters, study, overseas travel or contractual negotiations.

Pedal to the Metal

Warrior Mars is fuelled up for the last stage of his run in Taurus. If you've been struggling to get a new scheme or dream up and running, this could be the time when you actually succeed.
