His passion for mythology and the ancient traditions has led him on a journey through Astrology, Tarot, the Runes and the Celtic Ogham Script as a seeker and personal reader.
He is the author of a number of works on Celtic and Teutonic spirituality, including Odin's Runes and The Oracle of the Trees.
For Neil, the storyteller's path reminds us that while the wisdom of the past still lives, we can take wise action now and in the future. Always a traveller, Neil has now returned to the glorious Southern Highlands of New South Wales, on the East Coast of Australia.

    Friends In Focus
It's friends, hopes and wishes in focus with the Sun in Virgo and your solar eleventh house. Busy Mercury joins in the chase, so discussion and activity will feature. Where are you going from here?

There may have been a crisis or a transformation in your situation, one that will now require a new sense of direction. Ideas and people may come and go in the first week. Not everything or everyone will be as reliable as you would want. Ride out the waves of change. Romance may be inclined to unexpected developments or upsets.

Change comes with a Full Moon in Pisces on Sep 7th, one that brings a Lunar Eclipse to your solar fifth house. An association or endeavour may experience disruption or come to an end. A cycle in your life will close. A female may be involved. There may be a change of direction, spiritually or creatively. Step back a little from Sep 8th as Mars enters Libra and your solar twelfth house. Work behind the scenes. Watch things develop. Put effort into projects that will pay a dividend later. Watch for opposition from a hidden source. Make sure you don't become your own worst enemy by not looking at the consequences of what you do. Friends will feature in this period so there will advice or support for your efforts. However, they may respond in unusual ways. Not everyone will be agreeable. Some of you may have a friendship that turns into something more. Don't be swept along by hopeful or overly romantic notions in the third week. Don't indulge yourself.

It's time for an end and a new beginning with projects or associations as a New Moon in Virgo brings a Solar Eclipse to your solar eleventh house. Get on with it or get off the bus. The Sun enters Libra on Sep 23rd. Sit back and take it quietly for a time. Watch the world go by.
    Easing Off
Mercury begins in Virgo, leading you on a merry dance with friends, your dreams and romance. There'll be ups and downs with both people and your circumstances. Ride them out as it may be difficult to say where things will lead until you get to the end of the month. The first week may be unsettled. The second week will bring a crisis and a hard decision. Avoid conflict. Negotiate. Mercury enters Libra on Sep 12th. The unexpected or flawed plans may catch you out on Sep 15th. Tread carefully. Review. Plan in secret. Dream.
Venus flits through the last of Leo and into Virgo on Sep 6th. It's a social time and you can enjoy the best and the tests of friendship. Not everything will go your way though. There may be changes in romantic life one way or another. A friendship may develop or take a new turn. You may gather with like-minded people or you may attend meetings or classes to learn. There may be financial pressures in the last week. Is something or someone costing you too much? Cut your losses. Venus enters Libra as the month ends. You may withdraw a little or enter a quiet time where you need rest or someone else needs support.
    Slowing Down
Mars in Virgo calls for energetic action. Pursue your schemes and dreams or help others with theirs. You may be coming off a high or coming out of a crisis as the month begins. Use support to get flowing again. Social activity will feature. Put in to get back. Mars enters Libra on Sep 8th, urging you to drop down a gear. Work behind the scenes or build up slowly. Watch for opposition from others or unexpected delays with your efforts.
