Home Life

Home or family is in the frame with the Sun in Sagittarius, and, with Venus also in the sign of the Centaur from Dec 1, social life, purchases or domestic changes will be on the calendar. A whizz bang Full Moon follows on Dec 2, bringing emotion or excitement with responsibilities or career. You'll deal with an excitable public or with strong feeling in situations or people. Communications will create reverses or bring news or revelations. New tasks or duties will emerge or old ones will be redefined. A change of condition with money will alter life at home or in the family. Dec 5 brings ideas or activities that mark the end of a cycle. Communications with children or romantic partners will be intense or defining. As new ways open in work or health, you'll have to cut your coat according to your cloth in lifestyle or love. Dec 7 will define the fiscal changes.

It's excitement or restlessness from someone close on Dec 14. Give the ructions time to settle then see what's really altered. On Dec 16, a New Moon in Sagittarius will bring a new domestic or family cycle. Revised ideas or new horizons will open a door or shift focus at home. Don't hold a party and avoid unnecessary domestic purchases on Dec 20. Guests will stir the pot, as Venus hits Uranus. Excitement will lead to haste but that's best avoided, especially as Mars reverses in Leo. Unexpected developments or delays will affect plans, so be patient and give it all more time. Review your action style and watch for hidden opposition, a male especially. Dec 21 brings the Solstice and the Sun to Capricorn, as Jupiter joins Neptune. Follow a guiding light but wait for a wind to fill the sails.

Venus slips to the sign of the Goat on Dec 25 then clashes with Pluto and Saturn, as Mercury in Capricorn hits reverse on Dec 26. Aim for a dignified Christmas, enjoying what you have but accepting necessary constraint. A friend will be absent or a link will fail or finish as a New Moon and lunar eclipse flutters on New Year's Eve. The air's tense so watch for argument or accident.

Mercury Retrograde

Mercury slips to Capricorn on Dec 5, crossing Pluto and squaring Saturn from there. Change or tough decisions with money will feature and there'll be talks with a defining outcome. Let it all roll though, as nothing's set in stone. Potent or interesting contacts will bring possibilities on Dec 24 but the mood or situation will alter again as Mercury hits reverse on Boxing Day. Review lifestyle plans or creative projects and work at your communications with a romantic partner or a first child. A sudden change of situation will alter your perspective or desires. Going Somewhere

Home's the place for the social action first up as Venus slips into Sagittarius on Dec 1. You'll have guests, make purchases or hold occasions that will enliven the domicile, though some of this may stretch you socially or financially. Be generous, but avoid extravagance Ð and watch for a frisson or a touch of chaos on Dec 20. The best laid plans! Affairs of love or money will be in focus from Christmas Day as the goddess moves to Capricorn, joining with Pluto and in a square to Saturn by Dec 28. There'll be a test, an absence or restriction you'll have to deal with pragmatically. Constraint will give way to new options in time. Cool down any dramas.

Mars Retrograde

Mars is in Leo for the month, hitting reverse on Dec 20. You'll have to put a plan or a line of action on hold, as delays or difficulties come clear or you simply run out of gas. You'll hit an obstacle you didn't anticipate or you'll trip over your own feet without care. Be sure those working with you are 'with' you, not against. Secret effort by others may undermine your own. Watch relations with males especially. Health or mobility problems may affect a male around you or there may be issues with temper of frustration.
