2012 Horoscope Forecast Pisces, the Fishes in 2012 psychic, dreamy, compassionate angel
Mars retrograde in Virgo is causing trouble for everyone, dear Pisces… but for you, the problem area will be in your closest relationships and your open enemies. Egos run high when Mars is involved, and for the first 6 months of 2012, you will be contending with the jealousies and resentment of others. When Mars is direct, this will come out naturally and be something you can deal with easily. After all, you can't please everyone all of the time, and you really shouldn't try to.
Unfortunately, from Jan. 24th – Apr. 14th, people will be sneaky about working against you. Hidden animosity from your partner or mate can be worked through, perhaps with the help of a trusted counselor. Forgiveness is such a powerful force, and now is the time to use it. But when it comes to competitors who harbor hidden animosity… try to sleep with your third eye open to stay one step ahead of any funny business.
Your ruler Neptune enters your 1st house of appearance and personality on Feb. 3rd, representing a once in a lifetime transit that will help you achieve your most authentic goals. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being the psychic, dreamy, compassionate angel that you are, and if perhaps occasionally you give in to escapism, then so be it.
During the first half of the year, inspirational Jupiter (your ancient ruler) will stimulate your 3rd house of communication and ideas, making you overflow with thoughts you want to share. You'll have so much inspiration; it will be hard to keep quiet! Keeping a journal may help you organize these thoughts… you do want to avoid babbling openly without first truly thinking over your ideas. There will be a lot of coming and going as the 3rd house also rules community and short term travel… this may be the year you finally get involved in a car pool. Siblings play a more prominent role than usual as Jupiter highlights the bonds between you.
By the time Jupiter enters versatile Gemini and your 4th house of home and family, you will have definitely made your opinions known. Through the end of 2012, your focus will be on improving your home and family life. This could mean moving to a larger or smaller home, or it could mean remodeling or repairing your current one. Your family is also likely to expand in some way… Congratulations!
Saturn remains in your 8th house of sex, death, and other people's money for most of 2012, meaning any money you get from others will come with strings attached. Those strings may be karmic, as in the case of an inheritance, or they might be in the form of expectations, in the case of a spouse or partner who is financially supporting you and wants to be taken care of in return. As long as everyone understands the ground rules, there shouldn't be a problem.
What you have been learning over the past 2½ years will prepare you for when Saturn moves into Scorpio and your 9th house of higher education, philosophy, and travel on Oct. 5th. If you want to be completely independent, you will have to buckle down and pursue higher education or certification in a field that will allow you to make more money. It won't be easy, but in the end you will have something that is all your own.
Relationships: the Journey to the Heart
The year starts off with Venus in your 12th house of secrets and solitude, making you more likely to want to stay in and sit by the fire (or air conditioner) rather than party all night long. The weekend of the 13th is perfect for staying in an enjoying secret pleasures, whether it is reading your favorite books, watching your favorite shows, or dancing by the light of the Moon.
After January 14th, Venus sparkles in your 1st house of personality, which will help offset the effects of Mars in your 7th house of significant others. Then again, your fabulousness might be what makes others so jealous! Oh well, you can't help being who you are. Mars turns retrograde on Jan. 24th, so what happens now will continue to fester for the next 6 months.
Venus enters Aries and your 2nd house of personal finances on Feb. 9th, making it a little easier to earn money but also more tempting to spend it without thinking. With Saturn still lingering in your 8th house of other people's resources, you'll need to be very prudent with your budget. In terms of relationships, you may find a bit of a tug of war going on. What Have You Done for Me Lately by Janet Jackson may be a song that keeps playing in your head now. After March 5th, sensual Venus in Taurus enters 3rd house of communication, connecting with Jupiter to give you a silver tongue and a golden pen! Your relationships with siblings and neighbors should also benefit.
On April 3rd, Venus moves into your 4th house of home and family, where she will hold court for some time to come due to the retrograde cycle. Your family relationships can benefit from this, especially if you spend more time listening and trying to understand where others are coming from. However, with Mars itching for a fight in your 7th house of marriage and partnerships, it seems that your significant other's ego may need more feeding than you'd like to be responsible for. Fortunately, Jupiter will join Venus in June, helping you to make peace under your roof and with your most significant other. An Eclipse on June 4th will bring certain frustrations to light so that you may better address them, and what happens around that time will continue be a theme for you through November.
On August 7th, the focus turns to your creative efforts, including children, as Venus enters Cancer. This is a great time for you to just forget about the stresses of your life and have some fun! Reconnect with your inner child and remember what pure joy is like. If you haven't let your freak flag fly in a while, this might be the time to go ahead and let it unfurl.
After Sept. 6th, sensual Venus enters attention-loving Leo and your 6th house of health and service. When was the last time you had a bit of pampering? This is a great time to indulge in a massage, a pedicure, or some manscaping. Tending lovingly to others is very pleasurable now, so perhaps you and a favorite pal or significant other can trade pampering skills.
The focus turns to your most significant others again after Oct. 3rd, when Venus moves into Virgo and your 7th house of marriage and partnerships. Fortunately, by this time you have figured out what you want, what you need, and what you don't need in your closest relationships. Love and forgiveness can overcome anything, but be sure that you are loving and forgiving to yourself first.
Venus then moves into civilized Libra and your 8th house of sex and other people's money on Oct. 28th, where Saturn has been for the past 2½ years. Now that Saturn has moved on, you may find yourself feeling very free in the bedroom! Single Fish may find a very passionate playmate now.
During the last week of November, Venus joins Saturn in your 9th house of long distance travel and higher education. You will be learning more about the world over the next 2½ years or so, and this will serve as your introduction. Whatever cultures have made you nervous before are the cultures you should start studying… you'll be surprised at how much you have in common.
As the year ends, Venus holds court in your 10th house of career and public reputation. You will have validation that the choices you've made this year have been the right ones for you… your public loves you and the services you provide to others help make the world a better place. Namaste!
Home and Family
In July, Jolly Jupiter will activate your 4th house of home and family, where he will smile for a full year. This is great if you don't mind opening your doors wide and expanding what your idea of family means! You can expect to have a lot of activity going on under your roof, with plenty of “Aunts”, “Uncles”, and “Children” that may have no actual genetic relationship to you.
Most of you will be quite at home with this arrangement, as your compassionate soul sees family however you make it. Many of you will be moving to a different home or altering you current home in some way later this year. Plan carefully so you will have the money you need to do so.
Work and Health
With Mercury going into retrograde motion in your 6th house of health and service, you can expect July and August to be months where your work and health come into and go out of focus, in an alternating fashion. Stress is the mind (and body) killer here, so please commit to a sensible routine of healthy stress management. This could be as simple as getting more sleep or walking more places.
The Full Moon on August 2nd may bring a health issue to a head, so pay attention to the signals your body is sending you. Family issues may take your focus away from work during the 2nd half of the year, so remember to keep your public and private lives balanced once Jupiter enters Gemini and your 4th house of home and family on June 11th. If you work at home, be sure to make the boundaries clear to your family!
Career and Finances
With stern Saturn firmly in your 8th house of other people's money for most of the year, you won't be able to depend on others to buffer your accounts. Saturn is exalted in Libra, so even though you might be frustrated by the lack of assistance available to you at the moment, it doesn't mean that forces are not working on your behalf. In fact, this year you may find that you have enough of everything you truly need, even if you don't get everything you want. With Jupiter moving into your 4th house of home and family, it might be that working from home ends up being the best solution for you. Whatever you do, plan everything carefully and be sure to have your game plan apparent to everyone involved.
Ah, Mercury retrogrades! You can expect the Winged Messenger to go retrograde three times a year for about three weeks each time. During retrogrades, you can expect miscommunication, delays in travel, and breakdowns in machinery and appliances. Usually these breakdowns are due to neglect or lack of attention to detail and the retrograde period simply brings this to the surface. It's often a good idea to hold off on making any important decisions, purchases, or signing contracts when Mercury is retrograde. Brides planning weddings should certainly consult an astrologer to avoid scheduling the Big Day during a retrograde! On the positive side, Mercury retrograde is excellent for research and investigation. It is a time to go over everything carefully, looking for loopholes, mistakes, and weaknesses. Here are this year's Mercury retrogrades and how they are likely to impact you:
March 12th – April 4th Mercury Retrograde in Pisces, 1st House
Mercury retrograde in 1st house of personality and appearance will make it hard for you to get your point across. Don't even think about going to your hairdresser for a new style, because you won't come out with what you had in mind. Your most significant other won't be much help as Mars is also retrograde in Virgo and your 7th house of marriage and partnerships. At least you know that things won't go well, and you can make adjustments as needed.
July 15th – August 8th Mercury Retrograde in Leo, 6th House
Hopefully you won't lose a pet during this time… but it's possible, so make sure they are all micro chipped or otherwise identifiable. Your health and stress levels come into play now… and stress on the job may be the culprit. You'll need to double check everything, and make sure you are documenting your activities at work. By the time this is over, you should have a better idea of how things are organized and what your best strategy for efficiency is.
November 6th – 26th Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio, 9th House
Mercury retrograde in your 9th house of higher education and travel has the potential to mess up your plans for the future. You'll need to have a lot of patience while cutting through red tape and double checking registrations. The good news is, once this passes, you should make a lot of progress on your most serious goals. Work with Saturn's energy to take the first steps of achieving your most cherished dreams.
Lunar Life with Lady Moon
Your personal New Moon occurs on February 21st, signaling new beginnings for you. This is a time to reflect upon the events of the past year and set your intentions for your own personal new year, which begins with your birthday. Yes, Mars is retrograde opposite your sign, but that doesn't mean you won't eventually have a chance to make your dreams reality. You'll need to formulate your plans and wait before getting started on them, but good things are worth waiting for.
Your Full Moon happens on August 31st, and will represent the culmination of what began back in late February. Fortunately, most of the planets are in direct motion, giving you an opportunity to move forward without impediment. Even with your ruler Neptune retrograde, the only impact will be perhaps that you hesitate to express what is on your mind, preferring to save it for a more opportune moment. But if the moment is now, have no fear… your time has finally come.
Eclipses indicate change in the area of life they impact, and are often felt for much longer than regular lunations. In cases where the eclipse makes a close aspect to planets or angles in your chart, they can be felt for up to a year. Here is what to look for during the eclipse cycle of 2012:
A New Moon and Solar Eclipse in Gemini on May 20th may issues at home that only solidify the life decisions you are making. Change is in the air and it will eventually be for the best, but first you have to put your plans in place. This is the beginning, so have patience.
A Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius on June 4th only solidifies changes that began with the New Moon and Solar Eclipse in Gemini two weeks earlier. You can be immensely successful at work but you still need to slow down and take care of yourself and your family. In the coming weeks, you will be able to balance everything out much more sanely.
A New Moon and Solar Eclipse in Scorpio on Nov. 13th may find you somewhat frustrated as steps you are trying to take to improve your life (or see the world!) seem to be constantly thwarted by the Universe. Don't worry, after the eclipse and the retrograde are over, you'll be able to make more progress faster than you thought possible. Aim high!
A New Moon and Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius on Nov. 28th echoes what was begun during the New Moon and Solar Eclipse on May 20th, when you made some decisions that impacted your career and your home life. You have an opportunity to reinvent yourself publicly, so don't be shy. Nothing ever stays the same, and with Neptune in your sign for many years to come, you need to be true to yourself. Hold your head high.
