Saturn entering Virgo in the 2nd house has the distinction of redefining your values. Values can mean many things to many people and Virgo awakens very earnest meanings. The term "values" incorporates the themes of love and money – and your priorities in life. Unlike Leo, Virgo defines love in detail, with attention to the smaller points, emotionally, physically and psychologically. Keep in mind the preciseness of Virgo and add that to the pot. Now things start to get interesting because finances will also be redefined with a distinctively Virgoan flair.
There is no doubt but that you will begin to question your values. You will have to deal with what you want in life versus what you do not want. Additional responsibilities will probably require additional expenditures at this time, but for the most part the gain or the loss of monetary assets is not the real issue. Confronting the consequences of how you handle income and assets is what comes to the fore – the consequences of either having placed too much emphasis on money and material assets, or having wasted or irresponsibly managed them.
The highest reward of this phase is your emergence as a more successful individual who is better prepared to handle finances. Even more importantly you’ll have clearly established priorities and unassailable values.
Gemini on the 11th house will indicate the other area being activated, this time by Mars. This area has much to do with friends, hopes and wishes and your goals for the future.
Watch carefully from September 17th to November 15th to see what could possibly change. Mars will go direct on Jan. 30th, 2008, moving forward without interruption. The natal planets in this area will give real meaning to the Mars transit.
The Full Moon Eclipse (Aug. 28, 2007) at 4°46' of Pisces will land in your 8th house of partnership finances and other people's money. There will be a change or possible ending. Look to 8th house to give you an indication of how these matters (sex, death and taxes, other people's money and partnership finances) can manifest in your life.
A New Moon Eclipse (September 11, 2007) at 18°25' Virgo follows in two weeks. It will fall in your 2nd house of personal finances. It brings a challenge to that area of your chart. This is a primarily matter of values, which are likely to be tested.
